Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders with enthusiasm and accuracy
- Operate POS systems, to process transactions efficiently and accurately
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including smoothies, coffee, alcoholic beverages, & more, as per café standards
- Food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches & salads to order, chopping ingredients, making dressings etc.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones in compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle cash and perform cashiering duties with basic math skills for accurate change and transaction records
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive experience for all guests
Experience
- Previous experience working in the food industry or café environment is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Square is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards to ensure hygiene and compliance
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling and transactions confidently
