Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Carbon Fiber Prep & Sanding Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and sanding carbon fiber components and full bicycle frames and forks to ensure the highest quality finish prior to paint. Your expertise will help us deliver top-tier products that meet our standards for craftsmanship and performance.

Duties

- Prepare carbon fiber components by carefully sanding and finishing surfaces to achieve smooth, flawless finishes.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and sanding equipment safely and effectively to shape and refine parts.
- Inspect components for defects or imperfections, ensuring they meet quality standards before assembly.
- Assist with assembly processes by handling parts with precision using mechanical knowledge and appropriate tools.




- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Support lean manufacturing practices by identifying opportunities for process improvements and waste reduction.

Qualifications

- Strong manual dexterity and a steady hand
- Excellent attention to detail and visual inspection skills
- Experience with sanding, surface preparation, or bodywork (auto body, composites, marine, aerospace, or similar preferred)
- Comfort working with power tools in a controlled, careful manner
- Ability to follow processes consistently and take feedback constructively
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic in a production environment
- Genuine interest in craftsmanship and high-quality manufacturing
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
