Duties
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote comfort and independence
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs, ensuring proper meal planning and execution
- Support clients in engaging with educational or recreational activities, including teaching basic skills or hobbies
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing regular cleaning tasks and organizing living spaces
- Provide transportation to appointments, outings, or activities as needed, ensuring safety at all times
- Monitor health status, report changes or concerns promptly, and assist with medication reminders if applicable
- Foster positive interactions by offering companionship, emotional support, and encouragement throughout the day
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
- Strong skills in cooking and meal preparation to meet diverse dietary requirements
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining hygiene standards
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills to connect effectively with clients of all ages
- Experience in caregiving or teaching roles that involve patience, adaptability, and active listening
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred for client outings and appointments
- Ability to follow care plans precisely while demonstrating flexibility to adapt to changing needs
