You will deliver personalized care to a middle-aged adult wheelchair user with a disability.
Seeking 3-5 days per week availability; overnights optional but not mandatory. Must be able to commute to South Etobicoke. No formal PSW Experience required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily activities such as dressing, and mobility to promote independence and well-being
- Provide patient care including health monitoring
- Support with meal preparation and feeding to meet nutritional needs and dietary restrictions
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning living areas to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
- Offer companionship and emotional support if needed
Qualifications
- Knowledge of individuals with disabilities or willingness to learn is advantageous
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills and patience
- Certification or training in caregiving or nursing is a plus but not mandatory
- Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing respectful, high-quality care
