Aariva Care Group is hiring Caregivers & Health Care Assistants (HCAs).

We’re looking for compassionate, dependable and skilled caregivers who genuinely care about helping seniors live safely, comfortably and independently in their own homes.

Qualifications

- Health Care Assistant (HCA) certification or recognized caregiving education
- Previous caregiving experience in Canada
- Experience providing personal care and supporting seniors
- Dementia care experience is an asset
- Current First Aid & CPR certification
- Valid Criminal Record Check required
- Valid BC Driver’s Licence
- Access to your own reliable vehicle
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Ability to speak additional languages is a strong asset
- Legally entitled to work in Canada

What We Look For

Compassion, patience, reliability and professionalism are essential. You should be comfortable working independently in clients’ homes while respecting their privacy, dignity, preferences and independence.

Availability for a combination of day, evening, overnight and weekend shifts is an asset.

$23–$26/hour, based on experience and qualifications,

What You’ll Do:

⁠ ⁠Assist clients with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing)

⁠ ⁠Provide companionship and emotional support

⁠ ⁠Support mobility and safe transfers

⁠ ⁠Prepare meals and assist with feeding

⁠ ⁠Light housekeeping (laundry, cleaning, organizing)

⁠ ⁠Medication reminders

⁠ ⁠Report changes in client health or behavior
