We are looking for a full-time apprentice carpenter or skilled labourer who is a self-starter with energetic & results-oriented work style, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and meticulous attention to detail.

Characteristics Needed to Succeed:

- Related work experience is considered an asset.
- Valid class 5 drivers license and drivers abstract.
- Ability to work in fast-paced workplace, under pressure, while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
- Adherence to safety practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

- Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully grasp requirements.
- Demolish drywall, take down ceilings,



or otherwise prepare spaces for renovations.
- Lay out flooring, roofing, or drywall to ensure they are level and compatible.
- Carve and assemble cabinets, shelves, and other items as required and install them where designated.
- Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of the material that are needed.
- Build scaffolding and other construction structures.
- Cut, shape and smooth lumber, fiberglass, and other material according to measurements.
- Complete safety documentation.

Vulnerable sector criminal record check is required. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
