Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently processing transactions. This role requires robust time management skills and the ability to handle cash accurately and contribute to enhance shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

- Checkout Operations: Process cash, debit, and credit card payments accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system and supervise self-serve registers.
- Customer Service: Greet shoppers, answer questions, and provide a helpful store experience.
- Stocking and Merchandising: Unpack daily shipments, sort boxes, build pallets, and place merchandise neatly onto shelves.
- Store Maintenance: Sweep floors, tidy displays, face products, and help maintain safety and cleanliness standards throughout the shop.
- General Duties: Climb step stools to reach high shelves and assist with backroom organization when store traffic is slow.

Requirements

- Skills: Good basic math and communication skills,



with a strong focus on teamwork and customer service.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long shifts, climb ladders/step stools, and lift or move boxes and heavy freight regularly.
- Availability: Flexible schedule based on store operational needs, which often includes working evenings and weekends.

Language:

- English (required)
- French (nice to have)

Physical Job Requirements:

- Ability to lift 30-50 pounds
- Ability to stand for extensive periods of time
