Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases in a courteous manner
- Operate POS systems accurately for processing transactions, returns, and exchanges
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments with precision and security
- Provide product information, perform product demos when applicable, and suggest additional items through upselling techniques
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure the checkout area is clean and inviting
- Communicate effectively with customers to answer questions about products or store policies
- Manage time efficiently during busy periods to minimize wait times
- Uphold phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries
- Support team members with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
Skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills for accurate transactions
- Experience in retail sales, merchandising, or technical sales is advantageous
- Ability to perform product demos and upsell effectively to enhance sales opportunities
