Duties

- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales transactions swiftly.
- Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with precision.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, including product demos when applicable.
- Maintain merchandising standards at checkout counters and ensure displays are tidy.
- Upsell products and promote store promotions to enhance sales opportunities.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to minimize wait times and improve customer satisfaction.
- Communicate clearly with customers using phone etiquette when assisting via phone or online inquiries.
- Support inventory management by organizing merchandise and conducting basic stock checks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales or cashiering roles, preferably with technical or product sales background.
- Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve a diverse customer base effectively.
- Robust communication skills coupled with excellent organizational abilities.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Experience with POS systems and cashiering procedures is preferred.
