At Mel’s Enterprises, we take pride in serving our community with great customer service and positive in-store experience. We are seeking a motivated Cashier/Pump Attendant (Key Holder) who is comfortable working independently and supports the day-to-day operation of our gas station and convenience store.

Key Responsibilities

- Dispense fuel safely and in accordance with company procedures
- Monitor pumps and site conditions for safety risks and fire hazards
- Deliver friendly, professional customer service at all times
- Operate the cash register and process payments accurately
- Maintain an accurate cash float by following cash-handling procedures
- Complete key holder duties, including opening, closing, and securing the site
- Keep the site clean, organized, and free of garbage
- Stock shelves and maintain neat, well-presented product displays
- Maintain outside areas and displays (oil, windshield fluid, walkways)
- Perform outdoor upkeep such as sweeping and snow removal as needed




- Support efficient daily operations of the store and gas station

Qualifications

- Eligible to work legally in Canada
- Friendly, professional customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Comfortable working independently and making decisions while alone on shift
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (required)
- Cash handling, reconciliation, or inventory experience is an asset
- Able to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Maintains a professional appearance and attitude
