Overview

We are seeking a friendly, customer-focused Cashier/Sales associate to join our retail team. This role involves engaging with customers, managing transactions, and promoting products to enhance the shopping experience. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

Duties

- Operate POS systems efficiently to process sales transactions accurately and quickly
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries and selections
- Conduct product demonstrations and upsell items to maximize sales opportunities
- Handle cash, credit, and electronic payments with precision and integrity
- Maintain organized merchandising displays to attract customer attention
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions and resolving issues promptly
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure smooth checkout processes
- Uphold phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online channels
- Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment as needed




- Support team members in achieving sales goals through collaborative efforts

Experience

- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills is advantageous
- Robust communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for engaging with customers effectively
- Demonstrated organizational skills and time management capabilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Experience in merchandising, product demos, or technical sales related to technology products is a plus but not mandatory
