Part-Time Cashier

Our Georgetown location is currently seeking a Part-Time Cashier to join our team. We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused individual who enjoys helping customers and working in a quick-paced retail environment.

Evening and weekend availability is required.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

- Greet customers as they enter and exit the store

- Provide prompt and courteous customer service in person and over the phone

- Direct phone calls and customer inquiries to the appropriate team members

- Assist customers with questions and help direct them throughout the store

Cash Handling & Operations

- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently

- Verify payment methods and ensure payments are completed correctly

- Handle cash, receipts, and other transaction documentation responsibly

- Balance and maintain cash drawer procedures as required

Store Maintenance & Merchandising

- Keep cashier and customer service areas clean, organized, and presentable

- Restock merchandise and assist with inventory replenishment as needed

- Ensure displays and products are neat,



organized, and properly maintained

- Monitor displays and storage areas and report any safety concerns or hazards

Additional Duties

- Assist other departments as required

- Support general store operations and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

- Strong customer service and communication skills

- Reliable and dependable with a positive attitude

- Basic math and cash-handling skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Building materials or hardware industry knowledge is considered an asset

- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs when required

Schedule

- Part-time hours

- Must be available to work evenings and weekends

- Flexibility to work weekdays is considered an asset
