Casual Greenhouse Assistant - Canola Breeding Program

Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the canola breeding greenhouse programs.

Desired qualifications:

- Positive attitude and willingness to learn

- Strong attention to detail while performing repetitive tasks

- Legally entitled to work in Canada

- Ability to lift up to 25 kg

- Ability to sit or stand for long shifts

Duties would include, but are not limited to:

- Harvesting and threshing of greenhouse plants

- Cleaning and sorting seed

- Assisting with maintaining canola plants

- Cleaning greenhouse facilities

Wage $17.00/hour. 40 hours/week with possibility of some overtime for 4-6 weeks, potential extension for casual part time hours as needed.

Location and Transportation:

DL Seeds Inc. facilities are located at 51134 Hwy 330, on the corner of SW Perimeter Hwy 100 and Hwy 330 (Brett Young Seeds Yard). There is no public transportation to the site.
