We are seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our pharmacy team in a casual/part-time staff pharmacist role. This position is well suited to a pharmacist looking for approximately 1–2 days of work per week in a community pharmacy setting.

The staff pharmacist will provide safe, effective, and patient-centred care while working collaboratively with the pharmacy manager, clinic physicians, patients, caregivers, and other health-care professionals.

Responsibilities

- Provide professional pharmacy services in accordance with provincial and federal legislations, regulatory requirements, and the standards of practice outlined by the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals.
- Assess patients and provide appropriate medication-related care using professional judgment and clinical knowledge.
- Review, interpret, prepare, and dispense prescriptions accurately and safely.
- Counsel patients and caregivers regarding medications, including appropriate use, potential adverse effects, interactions, adherence, and monitoring.
- Communicate and collaborate appropriately with prescribers and other health-care professionals to support optimal patient outcomes.




- Provide authorized pharmacist prescribing such as minor ailments and prescriptive authority, as well as other professional services within the pharmacist's scope of practice.

Qualifications

- Licensed pharmacist in Saskatchewan and a member in good standing with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals.
- Community pharmacy experience using the Kroll system is preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a clinic pharmacy setting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation and medication safety.
- Current knowledge of Saskatchewan pharmacy practice, legislation, and professional standards.

Schedule This is a casual/part-time position requiring approximately 1–2 shifts regularly per week. Scheduling can be discussed based on the successful candidate's availability.

This position may be particularly suitable for a pharmacist seeking a adaptable part-time schedule or additional community pharmacy hours.

Pay: $50.00-$55.00 per hour
