Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CCTV Technician to join our dynamic security and surveillance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems across various facilities. Your expertise will ensure the safety and security of our premises by delivering reliable surveillance solutions.

Duties

- Install CCTV cameras, sensors, and related security hardware according to schematics, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on CCTV systems, ensuring optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot system issues related to computer hardware, networking, low voltage wiring, and electrical components to restore full functionality swiftly.
- Read and interpret schematics, construction drawings, and wiring diagrams to facilitate accurate installation and repairs.
- Configure and test digital intrusion detection systems (IDS), telecommunication lines, and network connections to ensure seamless integration.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation or repair tasks.
- Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or renovations to ensure CCTV systems are integrated properly within the infrastructure.

Experience

- Proven experience in CCTV system installation, maintenance,



or repair in commercial or industrial environments.
- Solid knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction plans related to security systems.
- Hands-on experience with computer hardware setup, networking configurations, and low voltage wiring techniques.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, sensors, telecommunication infrastructure, and mechanical components involved in security installations.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately while following safety protocols.
- Mechanical aptitude with proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, drills, power saws, and other essential power tools.
- Knowledge of IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), sensors integration, and telecommunication systems is highly desirable.
