Duties

- Safely operate a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A truck across designated U.S. routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload freight using forklifts and other heavy equipment when necessary, ensuring secure handling of cargo
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety issues
- Manage freight documentation accurately, including delivery manifests and shipping paperwork
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting to address minor vehicle issues promptly during routes




- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse teams to coordinate deliveries and pickups
- Maintain a clean driving record and uphold company safety policies at all times

Experience

- Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving on U.S. routes, preferably with knowledge of freight handling and logistics operations
- Hands-on experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment preferred
- Familiarity with freight management systems and basic automotive repair skills is a plus
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, loading, and unloading freight regularly
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and transportation regulations
