The Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) performs duties as outlined by the British Columbia College of Oral Health Professionals (BCCOHP), under the direction of the operating dentist. Working within a team setting, the CDA assists with General Dentistry and Specialty procedures, maintains clinical infection control, and supports the organized flow of procedures and client care. The CDA ensures all client interactions are culturally safe, client-centered, and trauma-informed.
