Boutique Endodontic Practice | Full-Time
We are a boutique endodontic practice committed to providing exceptional, patient-centred care in a calm and relaxing setting. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced dental receptionist who enjoys working in a smaller, collaborative specialty practice and takes pride in creating an exceptional patient experience. The successful candidate will play an important role in both the day-to-day patient experience and the development of our referral relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Register new patients and maintain accurate patient records.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
- Review radiographs to determine treatment estimates.
- Submit insurance claims and estimates.
- Communicate treatment and appointment information clearly and professionally.
- Conduct post-treatment comfort calls.
- Coordinate referrals and communicate effectively with referring offices.
- Provide a warm, reassuring, and personalized experience for patients.
- Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries with professionalism and compassion.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming reception environment.
- Work closely with the clinical team to ensure a smooth patient journey from referral through treatment and follow-up.
- Multitask effectively and prioritize competing responsibilities.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while demonstrating sound judgment and initiative.
Requirements: We are looking for someone who:
- Has several years of dental reception experience.
- Previous endodontic or specialty dental experience is an asset.
- Is comfortable reviewing dental X-rays and treatment information.
- Has experience preparing or discussing treatment estimates.
- Is confident communicating with referring dental offices.
- Has excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Is warm, professional, and genuinely patient-centred.
- Is comfortable multitasking and managing multiple priorities.
- Is able to work independently.
- Has strong computer skills Excel, Dental Software, and touch-typing ability.
- Scan, photocopy, answer calls.
- Is detail-oriented and takes ownership of their responsibilities.
- Enjoys building lasting professional relationships.
- Works well in a small, close-knit team helping as needed.
- Additional assets include HARP, IPAC.
Compensation: Based on experience and qualifications, with wages guided by applicable ODA and ODAA benchmarks and criteria.
