Job Title: Certified Pet Groomer (Two Paths: Growth-Focused or High-Commission)

We are currently hiring for one distinct grooming position:

Option 1: The Growth & Development Path (Perfect for Newly Certified Groomers)

- The Vibe: Build your confidence, speed, and client base without the stress of commission based volume.
- Schedule: Part-time to start (flexible days), seamlessly scaling up to full-time as your dedicated book of regular clients grows.
- Compensation: Competitive hourly wage (negotiable based on your current experience and speed) + 100% of your tips.
- Support: We provide active marketing to fill your column, booking management, and mentorship to help you safely increase your daily dog count.

Option 2: The Elite Commission Path (Perfect for Experienced Pros with a Following)
- The Vibe: Hit the ground running, manage your own pace,



and maximize your earning potential.
- Schedule: Full-time or Part-time.
- Compensation: 50% straight commission on every single pet groomed + 100% of your tips.

- High-quality stainless steel bath on hydraulics, tables, dryers, towels, and premium bathing products, some grooming products and cleaning supplies.

- W-2 Employee status (including vacation pay, EI, and CPP contributions)

What We’re Looking For:
- Certification: Formal certificate from a recognized grooming school or equivalent practical certification.
- Mindset: A deep love for animals and a calm, patient handling style (especially with senior or anxious pets).
- Skills: Solid foundation in breed-standard cuts, basic styling, and safe prep/handling techniques.
- Reliability: Strong communication skills, punctuality, and a desire to build lasting relationships with island pet parents
