As a CF34 Senior Service Engineer, you'll support the growing volume of CF34 engine work by providing engineering support for our transactional customers. Working alongside the existing engineering team, you'll help manage increasing customer demand and ensure timely, high-quality technical support for CF34-8 engine programs. While your primary focus will be on CF34-8 transactional customers, your responsibilities may evolve over time to meet changing business and operational needs within the CF34 team.

What You Will Do

- Customer Engagement: Provide technical expertise and insight as a customer liaison throughout the engine maintenance process. Maintain active communication with customers, participate in regular meetings, host customer visitations, and prepare detailed hardware condition reports.
- Engine Work scoping: Optimize scope of engine maintenance through end-to-end analysis including customer technical and contract requirements, engine operational history, and engine performance and reliability objectives. Generate detailed work instructions to operations for initiation of maintenance processes.
- Production Support: Provide guidance and resolve complex technical challenges for operational teams supporting engine maintenance activity through active problem solving, creation and maintenance of engineering documentation and ERP systems, collaboration with OEM’s, and test data analysis for troubleshooting performance.
- Cross-Functional:



Aid quality teams in root cause analysis processes, risk assessments, and investigative actions. Support commercial development teams in providing maintenance data insights, fleet reliability analyses, and cost reduction opportunities. Assist material and production teams in engine hardware configuration assessments. Provide mentorship and coaching to peers. Identify and lead continuous improvement opportunities.

Perform other duties and projects as assigned while following all applicable safety policies and procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technologist diploma, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 2+ years of experience in an aerospace, aviation, manufacturing, or process engineering environment.
- 2+ years of experience interpreting engineering drawings, technical specifications, and maintenance documentation.
- 2+ years of experience preparing or maintaining technical documentation, including work instructions, engineering reports, inspection reports, or process documentation.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Desired Skills:

- Experience in an aerospace, aviation, or manufacturing engineering environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.




- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skill
- Knowledge of aerospace materials, manufacturing processes, and repair methods.
- Ability to analyze large data sets, with familiarity in statistical and reliability analysis methodologies.
- Experience working with ERP or maintenance management systems.
- Working knowledge of Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
- Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives such, as Lean or Six Sigma.
