The Cash Management Specialist is responsible for the attraction, maintenance and coaching of business members with cash management opportunities. This position encompasses both sales and support responsibilities, including providing support to the Cash Management Manager (CMM) and completing administrative tasks such as banking system updates, account documentation and follow up. This role supports Prospera’s Personal Banking and Business Banking sales teams with cash management product knowledge, solutions, services, and best practices.

What you'll do:

- Support all lines of business with knowledge and guidance on cash management products and services (including Member Service Center)
- Onboard, train and provide ongoing cash management support for new Business Relationship Managers, Local Business Relationship Managers and Business Relationship Support
- Create, maintain and deliver cash management product knowledge and training sessions with all lines of business
- Assist with the set up and approval of Advanced Business Online (ABO) for Business Banking, which includes set up of new memberships and users; password resets and member issue troubleshooting
- Support with the review and implementation of negotiated and waived fee agreements
- Draft special pricing arrangement letters and assist in ensuring they are signed and updated annually
- Convert existing negotiated accounts into standard account packages
- Analyze profitability of accounts and connections to ensure Prospera is in a solid net revenue position with all business members
- Review and manage returned items reports
- Analyze gaps and suggest improvements to cash management products and services, policies and procedures, and new technologies
- Support the management of a portion of Prospera’s deposit relationships and portfolio,



in coordination with Treasury
- Manage requests and issues for members of the CMMs portfolio
- Find solutions for complex business cash flow needs
- Provide monthly cash management reviews for all lending members assigned to Business Relationship Managers (BRM) and Local Business Relationship Managers (LBRM)
- Identify new business member acquisition targets and grow Prospera’s Business Deposit portfolio
- Complete member evaluations, applications and analysis; recommend and approve as appropriate

What you bring:

- 2-3 years’ experience in financial services roles within a member facing position that has exposure to lending, or an equivalent of education and experience.
- Previous knowledge of cash management products and services in the financial industry.
- Previous administration/office experience is an asset.
- Understanding of commercial underwriting principles and the legal and practical concepts of account documentation
- Proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Office, banking and customer relationship management systems is an asset
- Working knowledge of cross-selling techniques including business lending, deposit products, services, related policies, procedures, documentation requirements and legal processes
