Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. In this role, you will support the kitchen staff in food preparation and ensure a clean and organized kitchen environment. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in the food industry while contributing to a dynamic team that values quality and service.

Duties

- Food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes and cooking dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Support cooking staff by preparing ingredients and ensuring all necessary supplies are readily available.
- Operate kitchen equipment (tandoor clay oven, fryer, stove, etc.).
- Cook or assist with cooking under the supervision of the head chef or cook.
- Maintain correct cooking times and temperatures for different Indian dishes.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation are maintained.
- Help with meal preparation during busy service times,

- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and assist in serving food as needed.

Requirements

- Must have 5 or more years Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and basic food safety standards is essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills related to meal preparation and food service.

Job Types: Full time, Part-time Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
