Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom setting that encourages curiosity and independence
- Support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities, ensuring they receive personalized care and attention
- Maintain clear communication with parents and guardians about children's progress, behavior, and daily experiences
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, including supervision during activities and proper hygiene practices
- Assist with daily caregiving routines such as feeding, diapering,
nap times, and transitions between activities
- Document observations of children's development to inform planning and share insights with families and team members
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with young children in early childhood education settings
- Experience working with children who have disabilities or special needs is highly valued
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate caregiving tailored to individual children’s needs
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices in teaching
- Strong communication skills for engaging effectively with children, families, and team members
- Ability to create a positive, energetic atmosphere that motivates children to explore and learn
