We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Chinese Translator to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities

- Translate written documents, reports, and communications from Chinese to English and vice versa with accuracy and cultural appropriateness
- Interpret spoken language during meetings, conferences, and live events to ensure seamless bilingual communication
- Review and edit translated content for clarity, grammar, style, and consistency
- Collaborate with teams across departments to understand context and deliver accurate translations aligned with project goals
- Maintain organized records of translation work, glossaries, and reference materials for ongoing projects
- Assist in the development of multilingual content, including marketing materials, technical manuals, and legal documents
- Utilize typing skills efficiently to produce high-quality translations within tight deadlines

Qualifications





- Proven experience in interpretation and translation between Chinese and English, with a strong command of both languages
- Multilingual abilities are highly desirable, including proficiency in Quebec Sign Language or other relevant languages
- In-depth knowledge of linguistics principles and translation techniques to ensure accuracy and cultural sensitivity
- Bilingual fluency in written and spoken Chinese and English is essential
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex ideas clearly and professionally
- Strong writing skills with attention to detail for producing polished translated content
- Proficiency in typing quickly and accurately to meet project deadlines
- Familiarity with interpretation tools, translation software, or CAT (Computer-Assisted Translation) tools is a plus
