JSM Law is looking to hire an experienced Civil Litigation Clerk to join our multi-faceted growing team.

Responsibilities for the Clerk include, but are not limited to:

- Meeting with clients;
- Drafting Motions,;
- Drafting, reviewing, amending and updating Civil Litigation documents;
- Drafting Statements of Claim, Mediation Memorandums, Trial Records, etc.
- Docketing time;
- Billing and collecting retainer fees on a monthly basis;
- Researching, factum writing, correspondence with opposing counsel;
- Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

- 3+ years of experience at a law firm in Canada;
- Knowledge of Civil Litigation - Rules of Civil Procedure;
- Interest, expertise and demonstrated previous experience in Civil Law;
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and negotiation skills;
- Ability to work independently and robust work ethics; and




- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
