About The Role In this role, you'll prepare accurate cost estimates for a variety of civil construction projects, working closely with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure competitive and profitable bids.

Key Responsibilities
- Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to determine project scope.
- Prepare detailed estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams throughout the tender process.
- Analyze bids to ensure accuracy, competitiveness, and profitability.
- Research current market pricing and industry trends.
- Maintain organized estimating documentation and cost databases.
Qualifications
- Experience in civil construction estimating.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and equipment.
- Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple estimates and meet deadlines.
