The Department of National Defence is seeking civilian Automotive Heavy Duty Mechanics to support the maintenance, repair, and operational readiness of military vehicles and equipment for the Canadian Army.

Ideal candidates will have experience inspecting and repairing gasoline and diesel engines or equipment, diagnosing complex mechanical faults, and using computer-based maintenance systems. Successful candidates will apply their expertise across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to perform advanced repairs, preventative maintenance, and equipment troubleshooting in a fast-paced military maintenance environment. Candidates must also be willing and able to obtain and maintain a DND 404 driver's licence, work in enclosed spaces, and travel as required.
