Midland Transport is currently seeking a Class 1 Tractor Driver based in Saint John, NB Terminal. The selected candidate will be a reliable person with a strong work ethic and outstanding and positive attitude with a commitment to providing a Superior Quality service. The driver will be based in Saint John, NB and primarily complete overnight linehaul runs throughout the Maritimes.

Local pickup and delivery duties are required on Mondays. We are looking for a dependable, safety-focused driver with a positive attitude and strong customer service skills. Deliver freight to assigned customer locations, ensuring safe, accurate, and on-time delivery. Safely offload freight of varying weights and properly handle all freight handling equipment to prevent damage to cargo and property. Complete and maintain accurate daily pickup and delivery documentation.

Provide professional, reliable, and customer-focused service at all times. Operate company equipment in compliance with all company policies, safety procedures, transportation regulations, and traffic laws. Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections, and monitor all aspects of vehicle operation to ensure safety and compliance.

Class1 driver’s license with a minimum of 2 years of safe tractor trailer driving experience in North America required. Ability to safely lift, move, and handle freight as required. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
