We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities. The Cleaner will play a vital role in ensuring that all areas are clean, safe, and welcoming for both employees and customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.
- Handle heavy lifting of equipment or materials as needed during cleaning processes.
- Utilize commercial cleaning supplies and equipment effectively to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards.
- Communicate with facility management regarding any repairs or maintenance issues.
- Follow safety protocols while using power tools and hand tools for cleaning tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to client requests promptly and professionally.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
- Robust time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) as part of the cleaning process.
- Proficient in using various cleaning tools and equipment, including power tools when necessary.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
