Professional Audiology Clinic has been Edmonton’s trusted hearing professionals for over 35 years. We are seeking a Client Care Representative to join our amazing team and help deliver better hearing health to more people.
Overview of the Position
Professional Audiology is a small and dynamic team of audiologists and client care professionals with 2 locations. As a client care representative in our Sherwood Park office, you will be integral to the hearing care journey of our patients and a support to our hearing care professionals.
Responsibilities and duties include
- Patient care coordination
- Coordinating and booking patient appointments
- Managing phone calls and general reception
- Assisting with hearing technology troubleshooting, cleaning, and minor repairs under direction of clinicians.
- Processing incoming and outgoing orders, including repairs
- Preparing hearing technology for fittings and upon return from repair.
- Billing, collections and general accounting
- Supporting our team when anything comes up
- Communicating efficiently and effectively with the rest of the team
- Helping keep the clinic a clean, safe and welcoming environment
- Drafting and editing emails, letters and documents

Qualifications and Skills

Qualifications and skills include
- Experience in patient care, customer services and/or sales is an asset
- General knowledge of hearing care and hearing aids a necessity
- Friendly, professional,
and dedicated to patient care
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced workplace
- Take initiative on projects and work independently
- Professional communication on the phone, in-person and over email
- Computer skills in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Blueprint Office Management software
- Ability to prioritize and focus on projects
- Team-oriented attitude
- Passion for helping people
- Be open to feedback and learning
As a member of the Professional Audiology team, you will be an important part of the care we provide to every patient. You will need to be adaptable and responsive, while remaining focused on the needs and experience of everyone that visits the clinic. Technology is essential to hearing care, and this role requires computer experience and willingness to learn recent software and technology.
We are always looking to improve our quality of care, so the ideal candidate welcomes training and is prepared to always learn something new. As our clinic grows and improves, you will be able to grow with it.
Compensation and Perks
This role is in-person at the clinic (remote is not available) from Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM-5 PM. We have a benefits package for all our employees and salary will depend on skills and experience.
