Role Overview

As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist II , you will perform advanced diagnostic laboratory testing while supporting quality, compliance, and operational excellence within the laboratory. In this role, you will conduct moderate to high ‑ complexity testing, assist with training and orientation of testing personnel, and support continuous improvement initiatives across laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities Include

- Performing advanced diagnostic testing and quality control procedures
- Preparing reagents and reporting test results in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Conducting moderate to high ‑ complexity testing




- Maintaining laboratory systems, equipment, and supplies
- Assisting with training and orientation of laboratory testing personnel
- Evaluating competencies and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Demonstrating leadership in maintaining compliance, accuracy, and efficiency
- Performing other duties as assigned in support of laboratory operations

Qualifications

Education

Required

:

- Associate’s degree in Medical Technology or a related field

Preferred :

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Experience

Required :

- Clinical laboratory experience

Licensure / Certification

Required

:

- Clinical Laboratory Scientist / Technologist
- State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Scientist / Technologist License
