Located on the eastern edge of Ottawa, Camelot Golf & Country Club is a private member-owned club recognized as one of Canada’s Top 100 Golf Courses. We are currently seeking a Clubhouse Facilities & Member Services Attendant to join our team as of August 30th 2026.
Position Summary
This position plays a critical front-line role in maintaining the clubhouse to impeccable private club standards while contributing to a welcoming and professional Member experience.
The successful candidate will ensure that all clubhouse and locker room facilities are maintained in pristine condition at all times. As a visible presence within the clubhouse, this individual must demonstrate professionalism, attentiveness and a strong hospitality mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all clubhouse areas are immaculately clean and well-presented at all times
- Maintain locker rooms to the highest standards, including cleanliness of floors, windows, mirrors and fixtures
- Ensure washrooms are consistently sanitized and fully stocked
- Maintain adequate inventory of clean towels and toiletries
- Fold and present towels neatly according to club standards
- Provide shoe shine services when required
- Monitor supply levels and communicate replenishment needs
- Greet Members professionally and assist with basic clubhouse requests
- Maintain a discreet and respectful presence within locker room environments
- Respond promptly to cleanliness or service concerns
- Support special events and high-traffic tournament days as required
Qualifications
- Previous custodial, facilities or hospitality experience considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation
- Ability to work independently and maintain high standards without supervision
- Qualified demeanor and Member-focused attitude
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
Must have reliable transportation, as public transportation does not service our location.
Peak Season Requirement
Shift work availability Weekdays/Weekends 1:00pm- 7:00pm
