Responsibilities

- Operate CNC lathe machines, including Fanuc-controlled equipment, to produce complex parts according to detailed blueprints and technical specifications
- Program CNC lathes using CNC programming languages and CAM software to optimize machining processes
- Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical drawings to ensure precise manufacturing
- Set up tooling, fixtures, and workpieces accurately using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other precision measuring instruments
- Perform routine machine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting to maintain optimal machine performance
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment as needed for assembly or minor repairs
- Follow lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency, reduce waste,



and enhance quality in production workflows

Qualifications

- Proven experience operating CNC lathe machines with a strong understanding of CNC programming (Fanuc preferred) and CAM software
- Solid knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T; standards, and mechanical drawing interpretation
- Familiarity with electrical discharge machining (EDM), plastics injection molding processes, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) is a plus
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines for quality control
- Basic math skills necessary for calculations related to machining dimensions and tolerances
- Mechanical aptitude with experience in machining, tooling setup, assembly, welding, and use of hand tools or power tools
- Knowledge of manufacturing environments with an emphasis on safety protocols including forklift operation when required
- Strong attention to detail combined with excellent problem-solving skills in a fast-paced setting
