Overview
Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a CNC Laser Operator, where your expertise will drive precision and efficiency in metal fabrication. In this role, you will operate state-of-the-art CNC laser cutting machines to produce high-quality components, ensuring each piece meets strict specifications. Your mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and hands-on skills will be vital in maintaining smooth production workflows and delivering exceptional results.

Duties
- Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines, ensuring accurate programming and calibration based on blueprints and technical drawings
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical specifications, and mechanical drawings to produce precise cuts
- Perform routine machine maintenance, troubleshooting issues promptly to minimize downtime
- Use hand tools, calipers, and other measuring devices for quality inspection of finished parts
- Assist with material handling using cranes and forklifts to load raw materials and unload finished products safely
- Conduct quality checks throughout the production process to ensure adherence to specifications and standards
- Support assembly processes by preparing cut components for welding or further machining as needed
Experience
- Proven experience operating CNC laser cutting machines (Mitsubishi preferred) or similar CNC equipment such as plasma cutters, CNC milling machines, or CNC lathes
- Robust understanding of manufacturing processes including machining, welding, and assembly techniques
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, basic math skills for measurements, and mechanical knowledge of tools like press brake machines and hand tools
- Ability to use measuring instruments such as calipers accurately for quality inspection
- Experience with forklift operation and crane handling is preferred but not mandatory; certification is a plus
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to CNC machining, material handling equipment, and manufacturing environments
- Prior experience in a fast-paced production setting demonstrating attention to detail and commitment to quality
