We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CNC Laser/Punch Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating advanced CNC laser cutting and punching equipment to produce high-quality metal components. Your expertise in CNC programming, machine setup, and precision measurement will ensure efficient production processes and top-tier product quality.

Duties
- Set up and operate CNC laser cutting and punching machines, ensuring accurate configuration according to blueprints and technical specifications
- Program CNC machines using CAD/CAM software to optimize cutting paths and improve efficiency
- Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to maintain optimal performance
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to produce precise components
- Conduct quality inspections using calipers, hand tools, and measurement devices to verify dimensions and tolerances
- Assist with material handling using cranes, forklifts, or other mechanical tools to load raw materials and finished parts safely
- Support assembly processes by preparing parts for welding or further machining as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating CNC laser cutting machines and punch presses in a manufacturing setting
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming, setup, and troubleshooting techniques
- Mechanical aptitude with familiarity in welding, machining, plasma cutting, press brake operations, CNC lathe, milling machines, and related equipment
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and perform precise measurements with calipers and other hand tools
- Basic math skills essential for calculating measurements, tolerances, and material requirements
- Experience with crane operation and forklift certification is preferred for safe material handling
- Knowledge of quality inspection procedures and assembly processes is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in manufacturing environments will set candidates apart
