CNC Router Operator

Compensation: $24–$30/hour, based on experience

About BolDe

BolDe Imaging Group is a growing, full-service signage manufacturing company operating from a 40,000 sq. ft. facility in Mississauga. We design, manufacture and install custom signage and visual solutions for clients across a variety of industries.

We're looking for an experienced CNC Router Operator to join our production team.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up and operate CNC router equipment safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret drawings, measurements and production specifications
- Load materials, select appropriate tooling and prepare machines for production
- Cut and route materials including aluminum, acrylic, plastics, wood, ACM and other sign substrates
- Perform machine setups, tool changes and adjustments
- Monitor jobs to ensure accuracy and quality throughout production
- Inspect finished components against drawings and specifications
- Troubleshoot basic machine, tooling and production issues
- Complete routine cleaning and preventative maintenance
- Maintain an organized and safe work area
- Minimize material waste and identify opportunities to improve production efficiency
- Communicate production issues or discrepancies to the appropriate team member
- Follow all company Health & Safety procedures
- Collaborate with Production, Fabrication and other departments to keep projects moving efficiently

What We're Looking For

- Previous CNC router operating experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of CNC setup and operation
- Ability to read drawings, dimensions and specifications
- Experience working with a variety of materials and tooling
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality




- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
- Safety-focused approach to operating machinery
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
- Reliable, punctual and accountable
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

- 2+ years of CNC router experience
- Experience within the signage, graphics, millwork or custom fabrication industry
- CNC programming or CAD/CAM experience
- Experience with large-format CNC routers
- Forklift certification
- WHMIS and other relevant Health & Safety training
