Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ensure all surfaces, floors, windows, and fixtures are spotless and sanitized according to company standards
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when stock needs replenishing
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning tasks to the relevant department
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and prioritize high-traffic areas for frequent sanitation
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as needed to support facility upkeep
Qualifications
- Proven custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred, with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and safety standards
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and steam cleaners effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards
- Strong physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and stand for extended periods
- Good communication skills to follow instructions clearly and work collaboratively with team members
- Knowledge of proper handling of cleaning chemicals and safety precautions is a plus
