Commercial Insurance Broker – Entertainment Team

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Insurance Broker to join our client’s Entertainment Team in Montreal.

Our client is a large, well-established Canadian company with many years of experience in the insurance industry.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a commercial book of business, providing exceptional service to existing clients while also contributing to new business development and sales.

You will have the opportunity to work with businesses and professionals in a variety of entertainment-related sectors, including live shows, film and television productions, festivals, artists, events and productions, in a dynamic environment where every account brings its own challenges.

What We Offer

- Permanent, full-time position;
- Base salary between $80,000 and $112,500 per year, depending on experience;

- 35-hour workweek, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.;

Your Day-to-Day

As part of your responsibilities, you will:
- Manage a commercial book of business and provide personalized insurance advice and service;
- Develop new business opportunities and generate new sales;
- Negotiate coverage, terms and conditions with various insurance carriers;
- Handle policy changes, quotations and account follow-ups;
- Manage renewals and ensure client files are kept up to date;
- Provide professional advice to insureds based on their evolving insurance needs;
- Build strong client relationships and contribute to client retention;




- Respond to client calls and inquiries regarding their accounts;
- Work closely with assistants and various internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient, high-quality service.

What You Bring

- A valid AMF certificate in Commercial Lines Property & Casualty Insurance — required;
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in Property & Casualty Insurance;
- Fluency in both French and English, spoken and written;
- Strong negotiation, persuasion and business development skills;
- A proven commitment to exceptional customer service and a consultative approach;
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously;
- The ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations;
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment;
- A genuine interest in developing expertise in the specialized entertainment industry.
