DESCRIPTION

Reporting to their respective Regional Manager, the Commercial Manager is to ensure that Schluter Systems products are specified and installed in commercial projects. The Commercial Manager is responsible for identifying key commercial customers and building a relationship with them by networking, support, and providing the latest information regarding Schluter products in relation to their projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Identify Large Commercial Tile Contractors: This would include identifying Key Contacts and Educational Programs, Product Recommendations, Job Site Training, Relationship building and confirming that they are updated in the company database and rate them based on their status with Schluter and their status in their region.
- Working with Distributor Reps – both Architectural and Commercial: Sales Calls, Updated Literature, and Education.
- Architectural Education: In person AIA / CEU Lunch and Learns, Dinner Presentations or online, Product Specific Presentations, Review of Specifications, Product Recommendations and Industry events.
- Project Tracking / Management: Work with all levels to acquire relevant project information - to ensure complete job management from conception to fruition / completion. Must be able to work with company CRM.
- Understand the market and the Company’s philosophy for the purpose of developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies.

COMPETENCIES

- BA or BComm in Commerce, Business Management, or equivalent work experience
- 5 to 7 Years of experience in a related position




- Outside sales experience with hands-on tile installation materials or other technical sales an asset
- Effectively deliver on goals and deadlines for department
- Familiarity with the company products, territories, markets, and clients
- Demonstrates good time management, territory management, and project management skills
- Comfortable with travelling up to 80% of the time to accommodate customer needs and expectations
- Able to drive a company vehicle & pass a driving record background check

This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions in this job grade, with the final offer depending on factors like experience, education, location, and other relevant considerations. Additionally, this role qualifies for extra benefits beyond the base pay range mentioned.

Pay: From $81,000.00 per year
