Be a key player as a Commodity Accountant with Parrish & Heimbecker in Winnipeg, MB. This full time role focuses on month-end analyses and P&L; reporting for the Grain division. As a Commodity Accountant, you will ensure the accuracy of financial reporting and analysis within the Grain & Crop Inputs Division.

This position involves critical monthly profitability assessment for both CAD and USD commodities, communicating results to grain traders, and identifying variances. Your contributions will support effective decision-making and operational success. Key Responsibilities:

- Perform month-end profit and loss analysis for commodities
- Communicate timely P&L; results to grain traders
- Analyze expenses and freight execution costs for trends




- Complete monthly accounting reconciliations with accuracy
- Prepare manual journal entries and financial reports Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- CPA designation or enrollment in CPA program (asset)
- Experience in commodity or grain accounting (asset)
- Knowledge of hedging and future markets
