Padnoma Support Services is a nonprofit charitable organization that supports adults with developmental disabilities in Olds, Alberta and area. We value celebrating the person, citizenship and mutual responsive relationships. We are currently looking to add a couple of community disability support professionals to our team.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 GED or proven experience
- Human Services training is an asset
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A minimum of 1 year experience working with persons with disabilities will be considered an asset.
- Strong oral and written communication skills to learn proficient and respectful documentation. Computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Teams is an asset.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized support to individuals with disabilities in their homes, at their jobs and/or in their community
- Foster positive relationships with clients, their families,
employers, and other professionals
- Looking for various hours
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license, driver's abstract and 2-million-dollar liability coverage
- Criminal record/Vulnerable Sector check issued by the RCMP (current within last 3 months)
- First Aid/CPR certification
