Transparency matters to us. For this role, you can expect a salary between $50,000-70,000 annually, depending on experience. This is for an existing vacancy.
The best community managers have experience managing brand content across multiple social channels. They’re not only tapped into social trends, but locked in on social best practices. They can speak in TikTok sounds and are always on the hunt for the next great meme. They’re unique, pro-active, people-oriented trend setters. Key Responsibilities
- Culture Hunting: Identify social media trends and help the agency and client partners be part of the conversation across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter etc.
- Brand Voice Application: Be the everyday voice of some of the biggest brands in Canada. Engage in fun, playful banter with our brand fans on marketing content.
- Campaign Analysis: Help compile analytics reports on campaign performance, highlighting successes and identifying areas for optimization and opportunity.
- Social Comms Planning: Manage the monthly content calendar and schedule/post content. Plus, oversee surprise & delight moments with our community.
- Client & Agency Collaboration:
Communicate directly with clients, supporting in status meetings, pitching on-trend content ideas and presenting content calendars.
- Strategic Support: Play a role in the development of platform strategies and content plans/calendars for the agency and our client partners.
- Communication & Collaboration: Own the development of Community Management Guidelines and proactive strategies and present them clearly and concisely to colleagues across Creative, Strategy and Business Leadership Communities.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 0-2 years in a social-media focused role in an advertising agency, internship, or related field.
- A genuine, honest and unapologetic love of social media and meme culture.
- A deep understanding of how and why people use different social platforms.
- A wide range of interests, hobbies and experiences that that expose you to other ways of thinking, living and being.
- Solid writing skills with a growing understanding of craft nuances
- Eagerness to learn, strong work ethic, and a positive, collaborative attitude.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, and ability to take constructive feedback.
- Endless curiosity about how people are using social,
how brands can and should use it and how people WANT brands to act across platforms.
- Openness to learning and experimenting with modern creative tools, including an introductory understanding of generative AI's role in social media.
