Job Summary

Currently recruiting for Confined Space Rescue, Breathing Air Technician, and Safety Watch positions for upcoming industrial and oilfield projects. Successful candidates will support safe work activities through confined space rescue, breathing air operations, safety watch duties, atmospheric monitoring, and compliance with client and company safety requirements.

Duties

- Perform on site Safety Watch, Confined Space Entry Watch, Fire Watch, atmospheric testing, and gas detection.
- Provide confined space rescue support and assist with protected entry and exit procedures.
- For Breathing Air Technician assignments, operate, rig in, and rig out breathing air trailers and supplied air equipment.




- Monitor workers under supplied air and ensure breathing air equipment is functioning properly when assigned as a Breathing Air Technician.
- Identify and respond to changing conditions, hazards, and unsafe acts.
- Follow SFIC and client safety policies, procedures, permits, and site requirements.
- Complete required inspections, documentation, and field paperwork.
- Maintain equipment in a clean, organized, and ready-to-use condition.
- Communicate effectively with clients, site supervision, Dispatch, and field crews.

Required Qualifications:

- H2S Alive
- Standard First Aid / CPR
- Confined Space
- Fall Protection
- CSO / CSTS
- Valid Class 5 License with Clean Abstract
- Ability to understand and communicate clearly in English (oral and written)
- Be able to effectively handle and respond to stressful/emergency situations
- Possess a minimum of 1 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas Industry
- Be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well organized
- Ability to travel areas of Alberta and other provinces and territories for extended periods of time on an ongoing basis

Pay: $275.00-$375.00 per day
