Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and organized Construction Estimator / Project Coordinator to join our team in the Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional (ICI) sector. This hybrid, full-cycle role bridges the gap between pre-construction planning and project execution. You will be responsible for evaluating project costs from initial blueprints to final tenders, while simultaneously coordinating operations, tracking budgets, and managing stakeholder communication from award to closeout.

The ideal candidate brings over 5 years of construction experience, with a strong background in interior trades such as drywall, framing, acoustics, and finishes. Key Responsibilities

- Prepare quantity takeoffs and detailed cost estimates for ICI projects
- Review drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
- Prepare and submit competitive tenders
- Analyze and compare pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
- Prepare change order pricing and documentation
- Coordinate awarded projects from estimating through completion
- Track project costs, schedules, materials, and change orders
- Prepare and submit invoices
- Coordinate with GCs, PMs, site teams, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Prepare RFIs, submittals, purchase orders, and project documentation
- Maintain project records and workflows




- Attend site meetings/site visits as required
- Support project closeout and handover

Experience & Qualifications

- 5+ years of construction estimating/project coordination experience
- ICI construction experience preferred
- Experience with drywall, framing, GWB/ACT ceilings, flooring, painting, insulation, or other interior finishes is an asset
- Strong understanding of ICI construction processes and sequencing
- Strong blueprint/drawing and specification reading skills
- Strong estimating and quantity takeoff skills
- Ability to manage multiple tenders/projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu, Excel/MS Office
- Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related education preferred
