We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Labourer to join our energetic team. In this role, you will be an essential part of construction projects, supporting skilled tradespeople and ensuring that work progresses smoothly and efficiently. Your energy, attention to detail, and willingness to learn will contribute directly to the successful completion of various building and renovation projects.

This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry while working in a team-oriented environment. This is a part time position that may lead to full time. Starting wage will be re-visited once knowledge and skills are evaluated

Responsibilities

- Assist skilled tradespeople with tasks such as material handling, site preparation, and cleanup to keep projects on schedule.
- Operate hand tools safely and effectively to support siding and soffit installation , painting, caulking or other trade-specific activities.
- Must be able to read a tape measure.
- Support installer perform accurate cuts and make materials available as needed.
- Prepare work sites by clearing debris,



setting up scaffolding or protective coverings, and organizing materials.
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members.
- Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting or minor repairs as needed during project phases.

Qualifications

- Prior construction experience or familiarity with construction sites is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Proficiency with hand tools and basic construction equipment is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of construction-related skills such as carpentry,
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, lift heavy materials, and perform manual labor throughout the workday.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and a commitment to safety standards.
- Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license and the ability to get to and from work.
