We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Labourer to join our team. In this role, you will be an essential part of recent home construction, assisting skilled tradespeople and ensuring that work sites are safe, organized, and efficient. Hours will range between 20 and 30 hours per week from now until at least December 2026.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, ensuring all areas are safe and organized for work
- Use hand tools and power tools to support carpentry, framing, drywall installation, and other building tasks
- Operate equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols and site regulations
- Maintain a clean work environment by disposing of debris and organizing materials regularly
Qualifications
- Prior construction experience or hands-on familiarity with building sites is preferred but not required
- Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, drills, and saws (including cordless and electric)
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and protocols
- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
- Basic understanding of carpentry, plumbing, welding, flooring installation, tile laying or related trades is a plus
- Must have own vehicle to get to job site(s)
- Must have work boots and hard hat
Pay: $20.00 per hour
