We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, a solid understanding of construction processes, and the ability to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
This role involves managing teams, liaising with clients, landlords,emngogneers and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
A background in construction estimating, quality inspection, and electrical/plumbing experience is highly desirable to facilitate effective project execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead ,manage and scheduling construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and safety regulations
- Be able to read drawings and prepare take off, order and schedule deliveries.
- Be able to lead and manage 3-4 projects at the time.
- Develop detailed construction estimates and budgets in collaboration with project teams
- Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with all quality control standards
- Oversee construction inspections to verify work meets specifications and standards
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth project flow
- Manage project schedules, resources, and personnel effectively
- Perform regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Implement quality assurance processes throughout the construction lifecycle
- Maintain comprehensive documentation related to project progress, inspections, and compliance and closure of construction permits.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction management or a similar role within the construction industry at least 7 years
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating, project management, and quality control practices
- Experience conducting construction inspections and quality inspections on-site
- Electrical experience or familiarity with electrical systems is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of safety and quality
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with teams, clients, and stakeholders
- Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and building codes
