Our organization expanded in 2019 to include construction and remediation services. With an additional office in Edmonton and contract employees across the country, our national reach has allowed our programs and operations to become the national standard in the North.

Position Summary
Arctic Response is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee construction projects to completion, ensuring services are delivered on time and within budget, while upholding high safety standards. Projects will include residential new builds, renovations, and remediation (including mould and asbestos).
Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead residential construction projects from start to finish, including new construction, renovation, and remediation
- Manage construction team and contractors
- Administrative duties to include developing project schedules and estimates for clients, final project reporting, assist with proposal development
- Clearly communicate project status with ownership, clients, and construction team
- Review equipment and supplies required to complete projects consistent with budget and scope
- Execute timely completion of projects
- Proficient with relevant municipal and provincial/territorial building code regulations as it relates to construction
- Supporting a excellent health and safety environment, including hazard assessments and daily safety toolbox talks
- Provide direction or support in other areas as requested/required
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience in construction project management
- Minimum 5 years estimating construction projects
- Valid Asbestos certification
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills coupled with ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt to change and be flexible in nature
- Ability to work independently and with other associates in a team environment
- Able to travel for up to two weeks at a time
- Additional certification as an NCSO, PMP, or Red Seals will be considered an asset
Flights and accommodations are arranged and covered by Arctic Response Pay: $100,000.00 per year
