Position Summary

Star Group Canada Ltd. is seeking an experienced Construction Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations on commercial and infrastructure projects across the Greater Toronto Area.

You will be responsible for running the site safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality. This role requires strong leadership, trade coordination, and the ability to manage fast-moving projects while maintaining clear communication with the Project Manager, subcontractors, inspectors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily construction activities on commercial and infrastructure project sites
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, equipment, deliveries, and site personnel
- Ensure work is completed according to drawings, specifications, schedules, and company standards
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and productive job site
- Enforce health and safety policies, site rules, and regulatory requirements
- Conduct site orientations, toolbox talks, and daily safety checks
- Monitor progress and identify potential delays, conflicts, or issues early
- Communicate regularly with the Project Manager on schedule, manpower, materials, changes, and site conditions
- Review drawings, site instructions, and project documentation
- Coordinate inspections with consultants, authorities, clients, and internal team members
- Complete accurate daily reports (manpower, weather, deliveries, progress, visitors)
- Assist with planning upcoming work, scheduling trades, and organizing materials/equipment
- Identify deficiencies and ensure corrective work is completed properly
- Represent the company professionally on every project site

Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience as a Construction Site Supervisor, Site Superintendent, or Foreman
- Experience in commercial construction is required




- Experience with infrastructure, civil/site servicing, mechanical systems, or institutional work is a strong asset
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and site plans
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, site coordination, and trade management
- Solid knowledge of health and safety requirements on construction sites
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working independently and making sound decisions in the field
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to complete daily reports and basic project documentation
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle required

Pay: $48,000.00-$57,000.00 per year
