SurfaceID Product Development is looking for a creative Content Creator to develop AI generated images and short form video for our website and digital marketing.

This is not a traditional videographer or filmmaker position. We are looking for someone who can create lots of high-quality visual content quickly, efficiently, and economically, with a robust emphasis on using AI to do the heavy lifting.

The Role

You will create product photography, short videos, animations, and AI-generated content showcasing the products we design and engineer.

A typical project might involve taking a few quick photos or short videos of a product, then using AI to place that product into interesting environments, create dynamic scenes, generate backgrounds, animate the product, or create short videos that would be difficult or expensive to produce traditionally.

We want someone who is excited about AI-generated content and sees AI as an important creative tool—not someone who insists that every image or video must be traditionally produced.

You should be comfortable with:

- Photography using a smartphone or camera
- Short-form video
- Video editing and trimming
- Photoshop or similar image-editing tools
- AI image and video generation
- Creating product images in realistic and agile environments
- Creating short, engaging website videos and animations
- Optimizing images and video for fast website loading




- Basic website content integration (WordPress experience is a plus)

What We're Looking For You don't need expensive equipment or to be a professional photographer. A recent iPhone or Samsung phone can be perfectly adequate.

What matters is having a good eye, creativity, technical curiosity, and the ability to produce content quickly.

We are specifically not looking for cinematic filmmakers or directors. Our content is short, dynamic, practical, and designed for websites. We would rather create twenty useful pieces of content quickly than spend a week making one beautiful video.

Portfolio Required

Please provide examples of your work, particularly:

- Product photography
- Short-form video
- Website or digital marketing content
- AI-generated images or video
- Examples of products shown in different environments or contexts

Experience with AI content creation is highly desirable. A willingness to experiment with recent AI tools is essential. SurfaceID is a Montreal-based product development company specializing in industrial design, mechanical engineering, electronics, embedded software, prototyping, and manufacturing.
